Happy -belated- Valentine's Day

Seeing as I need something to post and having a few photos of Esmé from Valentine's day, I figured I'd post those. I have to explain the not-so-good quality of the pictures. For Christmas I received a new camera (Canon 40d) and a new lens (50mm 1.8II). Not 2 months later I broke the new lens!! It literally flew out of my backpack attached to my new camera. Thank goodness the camera was fine, but the lens was not so lucky :( To show you how awesome my husband is, he went out and bought me a new one, but not right away. So these pictures were taken with a kit lens (Canon 18-55). The third picture is what happens when you get punched in the face by a balloon.
