Well, she's already one!! Time surely does fly when you're having fun. Having Esmé has changed my life completely. I've learned so much about myself and about this new little person that has me wrapped around her cute little fingers. I love her so much.
We had a birthday party for her on Saturday at the park and overall it was a nice time, but the heat and humidity made things a little miserable for everybody. Below are some pictures from that party. Esmé had no issues eating her very own birthday cake. She wasted no time destroying the cake. I made the cake, by the way. It looked cuter when it wasn't sitting out in 90 degree heat for an hour.

awww... Emily! I can't believe she's a year old already. Looks like you guys had a great time despite the heat. Tell Esme that I said Happy One! (maybe she won't notice I'm late since she can't count yet) :)
